2016 BET Hip Hop Awards: Lecrae Talks Religion, The Presidential Election, Ghostwriters & New Album

On our recent trip to Atlanta we stopped by the 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards and talked to some of the best in the game. One of those artists, Lecrae, hit the stage later that evening.

Attributing his success to genuine personalities in rap that showed others he wasn't just in one box, he discusses his religious content. With the likes of Chance the Rapper and Kanye West bringing the gospel forward he says this recent switch is a reflection of how we're dealing with tough times.

While talking with Sway, Tracy G and Heather B he also talks about the election and putting his faith in God, rappers writing their own lyrics as well as a new album and forthcoming tour!
