Johnny Logan

Életéről:

Logan ír énekes és zeneszerző, aki 1954. május 13-án született az ausztrál partoknál. Valódi neve Seán Patrick Michael Sherrard, de lerövíditette, így született meg a Johnny Logan név. 2008-ig Ő az egyetlen előadó, aki kétszer nyerte meg az Eurovíziós Dalfesztivált.

Eurovíziók sorozata:

1979-ben indulni akart a Dalfesztiválon, ám az ír nemzeti döntőn csak harmadik lett Angie nevezetű szerzeményével. 1980-ban újra próbálkozott, s most megnyerte a nemzeti döntőt, így Ő képviselte hazáját az 1980-as Eurovíziós Dalversenyen, amin győzelmet aratott a What's Another Year című slágerével. Ez a dal Európa szerte híres lett, Angliában pedig felkúszott a zenei listák élére. 1987-ben Johnny egy merész gondolattal újra "nyeregbe ugrott" - megint nekivágott, s elindult az 1987-es ír nemzeti döntőn, aminek megnyerése kivezetett az Eurovízióra. Logant másodszor is megkoronázta a siker - kijutott a Dalfesztiválra a Hold Me Now dalával, ahol megnyerte az 1987-es szériáját is. Írország azóta szerintem irtóra büszke rá, mert ilyen eredménnyel nem sok előadó rendelkezik.
