The lumberjack costume consists of a plaid button-down shirt and trousers in a color such as red or blue. Depending on your preference, you can roll up the sleeves of the shirt a little or a lot, if you want.

Wear a pair of well-worn jeans and slip on a pair of sturdy red or black suspenders for added authenticity. You can also use a faux-wood axe, if you have one.

You can even wear a lumberjack jacket for an added layer of warmth. If you don’t have a lumberjack jacket, you can buy one at your local clothing store or make it yourself using an old coat or vest.
