Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has begun an official visit to Bucharest, Romania, and enthusiastically shared the event via his Twitter account.
In his tweet, Zelensky said: "I arrived in Bucharest (Romania) for talks with President Klaus Iohannis aimed at strengthening our strong neighborly ties."
He emphasized that various aspects of cooperation will be on the agenda during this visit. Such topics as security, development of aviation and other areas of joint activities, strengthening of Ukraine's air defense, formation of security architecture in the Black Sea region, as well as strengthening relations with strategic partners were discussed.
In addition, Zelensky expressed deep gratitude for Romania's support, noting its contribution to strengthening Ukraine's national security. He noted that the cooperation between the two countries contributes not only to stability in the region, but also to harmony in the world.
Noting the strong friendly relations between Ukraine and Romania, Zelensky emphasized Romania's role as a reliable ally, which has provided support in difficult times and continues to develop and strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries. This official visit symbolizes a significant step in the development and deepening of friendship and cooperation between Ukraine and Romania.
