Great Canadian Video pc gaming to resume Nova Scotia residential or commercial homes from Oct 5; Ontario mayors ask Premier to review 50-person top

In eastern Canada, Great Canadian Video pc gaming Company (TSX: GC) announced Monday the reopening of its video pc gaming residential or commercial homes in Halifax and Sydney, Nova Scotia, from October 5, 2020.

Both Casino Nova Scotia residential or commercial homes were closed down on March 16, 2020, together with all Canada's gambling establishments and casino amenities, to aid in the COVID-19 control initiative and in maintaining with public health and wellness orders.

Both gambling establishments will sign up with the Richmond, B.C.-based company's 11 residential or commercial homes in Ontario and 1 in New Brunswick, which are readied to resume from September 28, 2020, inning accordance with Great Canadian's September 4 news release.

In Nova Scotia where in mid-June gambling establishments were provided initial authorization to resume for business, the company said previously this month that it was functioning with the Nova Scotia Video pc gaming Company (NSGC) on preparations required for its 2 residential or commercial homes in the province's controlled video pc gaming industry to resume.

The property's reopening will apparently be based upon "extensive and detailed" health and wellness and safety procedure developed by Great Canadian, and in conformity with assistance from provincial health and wellness authorities. Adjustment of procedures at both residential or commercial homes is to consist of a significantly decreased visitor capacity to approximately 1/3 of previous degrees, a 40 percent decrease of slot devices, and the short-term closure of most of amenities.

In a news release, Chief Exec Policeman for Great Canadian, Pole Baker, commented on the coming reopening, saying…

"With the reopening of our residential or commercial homes in Nova Scotia, we'll have reopened in 3 of the 4 provinces we work in.

"We want to say thanks to the group at NSGC for functioning with us to accomplish this important result for our staff member, our visitors, and various other valued stakeholders," continued Baker. "This is another important step for Great Canadian and our group and the reopening of our 25 residential or commercial homes throughout Canada."

Ontario & New Brunswick:

On the other hand, the company's Ontario and New Brunswick residential or commercial homes will open up on September 28, as specified, with the previous restricting interior events to an optimum of 50 individuals and no table video games or "various other amenities," while the last will limit visitors to 25 percent of capacity, with the accessibility of its slot devices to be simply over half, and most amenities put on hold.

The provinces of Alberta and Nova Scotia are the first to permit charitable video pc gaming centers and gambling establishments to open up their doors to workers, customers, charities, and neighborhoods after being shuttered in mid-March.
