Jonathan Hyde

Jonathan Hyde ausztrál születésű, angol színész, 1948. május 21-én született Bisbane-ben, Ausztráliában.

Felesége, Isobel Buchanan, skót énekesnő. Két lányuk van, közülük az egyik színésznő.

Hyde tagja a Royal Shakespeare Company-nek. A Royal Academy of Dramatic Art-on végzett.

Számos filmben és sorozatban szerepelt. Játszott a Midsomer gyilkosságok és a Sherlock Holmes krimisorozatok egy-egy epizódjában is.

1994-ben szerepelt a Richie Rich-Rosszcsont beforr (Richie Rich) c. vígjátékban, majd 1995-ben a Jumanji c. kalandfilmben, ahol ő alakította a vadászt.

1997-ben a James Cameron által rendezett Titanic c. drámában is szerepelt, Bruce Ismay-t alakította. 1999-ben A múmia (The Mummy) c. kalandfilmben is játszott, az egyik egyiptológust formálta meg.

Később 2001-ben A tolvajok hercegnője (Princess of Thieves) c. kalandfilmben tűnt fel, János herceg szerepébe bújva. Szintén 2001-ben szerepelt az Attila, isten ostora (Attila) c. történelmi filmben.

2006-ban A fáraó bosszúja (The Curse of King Tut's Tomb) c. kalandfilmben játszott.
