Vivica A Fox

Vivica Anjanetta Fox. Indianapolisban született és a Golden West College Társadalomtudományi Karán végzett. A főiskola után Los Angelesbe költözött, hogy színésznőként próbáljon szerencsét. Megtörtént. Ebéd közben fedezte fel egy producer a Sunset Bouklevardon. Első szerepét pedig az Out All Night című tv sorozatban kapta Patti LaBelle lányaként.

Később olyan tévésztár partnereként is feltűnt a tévé képernyőjén, mint Arsenio Hall. Az első televíziós szerepek nyitották meg az utat a filmstúdiók felé. Oliver Stone Született július negyedikén című filmdrámájának egy apróbb szerepében debütált a vásznon. Első sikerét Will Smith barátnőjeként aratta A függetlenség napja című akció scifiben Ezért az alakításáért az MTV Movie Awards gáláján a legjobb filmes csók kategóriában kapott díjat.
 

A következő években Fox a legkülönfélébb műfajú alkotásokban szerepelt, így Nia Long és Vanessa L. Williams húgaként A nagymama főztje c. filmben – melyet szintén az MTV díjával jutalmaztak. Szerepelt a Batman és Robin című filmben, melyben a végzet asszonyaként jelenik meg. Kipróbálta a könnyedebb műfajt is Eddie Griffin és Orlando Jones partnereként a Fejcserés támadás c. moziban, majd pedig Uma Thurman oldalán tűnt fel Quentin Tarantino Kill Billjében. Játszott az Eltűntnek nyilvánítva című sorozat 37 epizódjában, de feltűnt az Esküdt ellenségek és a Félig üres című sorozatokban, majd a Scooby Doo című sorozatban szinkronizált. 2013-ban több filmje került bemutatásra, mint például a Queen city vagy a Golden Shoes. 2014-ben a Terms & Conditions kerül a mozikba, majd 2015-2016-ban az Empire című sorozatban kapott szerepet. 2017-ben a Hajrá csajok következő részében, majd a True to the Game című filmekben látható.
