Well, I started watching the very first night... I thought, since there's nothing else there until fall... hmmm, it's a big, big disapointment, so far. (I've watched 6 episodes, I just couldn't bring myself to watch 107 and 108....)

What You need to have a good show, is really simple. You need a good cast. Here, You don't get it. Loken isn't really bad, but her acting skills are very far from someone who's capable to carry an entire show on her shoulders. The others... I don't want to be rude, but it's no wonder that they are unknown actors. You can't get famous if You don't know how to act.

You need good writing, good stories. I don't even want to start. Boring, clichéd, or even plain nonsense. Plus, You don't get anything that You haven't seen a thousand times.

You need (It's 2007!!!!) a cool design, a nice look, interesting sets, good camera work, etc... This? Any monkey with a handheld mini DVcam can shoot this.

It might get better than this (would require some top-notch producers, but Sci-Fi obviously don't have them and can't afford them, hence the living example of Battlestar Galactica... ), but as I always say: if it's not working, don't push it... SF should pull the plug, and spend the money on BSG - get some writers and producers for THAT show, let's do a decent final season for that one...

I don't agree with you. I think it's a pretty good show, the actors are okay, it has style, and so far it's interesting enough to make me wait for the next episodes.

I was bored to death when I was watching the first episode of Dexter, the first time I fell asleep, next time I managed to finish it and I didn't bother to continue after that. I think you must have felt the same way about this show. Well, we can't have the same taste in everything.
