Mary Astor

Amerikai színésznő. Lucile Vasconcellos Langhanke néven született 1906. május 3-án Quincyben, 1987. szeptember 25-én halt meg Woodland Hillsen. Édesapja német származású volt.

Pályafutása alatt több mint 100 filmben szerepelt, legismertebb filmje a Máltai sólyom című film, melyben a legendás Humphrey Bogart volt partnere. 1941-ben a Nagy hazugság című filmben nyújtott alakításáért Oscar-díjat kapott. Sok kortársával ellentétben, Mary Astor színésznő nemcsak, hogy túlélte legintimebb titkainak nyilvános megszellőztetését, de szerelmi életének napvilágra kerülése után, karrierje látványosabbá vált.
