Élete

Tara Lyn (Charendoff) Strong 1973. február 12-én született Toronto-ban, Syd és Lucy Charendoff gyermekeként. A szüleinek egy vegyeskereskedése volt, amit The Wiz-nek neveztek. Tara dolgozott ott mint gyógyszerész. Van egy nővére, Marla. 4 évesen kezdte el érdekelni a színészet, így az iskolában öbkéntesként vállalt színjátszást. Egy zsidó színházban dolgozott, bár nem tudat egyáltalán a zsidó nyelvet. Ebben a színházan szerepet kapott a A Night of Stars és a Lay Down Your Arms darabban. Az első profibb színházi szerepe a The Music Man darabban volt, mikor 13 éves volt. Első igazi szinkronhang szerepét a Hello Kitty sorozatban kapta, mint a cica Hello Kitty. Körül belűl 350 animásciós sorozatban kölcsönözték a karakterek a hangját. Ezek közé tartozik a  Poof; Rugrats, All Grown Up! mint Dil Pickles, a Pindúr Pandurok mint Puszedli, Ben 10 mint Ben, Tinitiánok mint Raven, Family Guy, Én kicsi pónim: Twilight Sparkle és az Angyali Keresztszülők, mint Timmy Turner.

Magánélete:

1999-ben találkozott Craig Strong-al, 2000. május 4-én házasodtak össze. Két gyermekük van,  Sammy (2002) és Aden (2004). Jelenleg Los Angelesben élnek és saját cégükkel keresik a pénzt, ami egy szinkron iskola, a neve VoiceStarz.
