Christopher Lloyd

Christopher Allen Lloyd néven látta meg a napvilágot 1938. október 22-én Stamford-ban. Amerikai színész.

Kezdetek

Édesapja, Samuel R. Lloyd, ügyvéd, édesanyja, Ruth, énekes. Édesanyja bátyja, Roger Lapham, San Francisco polgármestere volt. Anyai nagyapja, Lewis Lapham, aki az egyik apalítótagja volt  a Texaco olajtársaságnak. Van egy fiatalabb testvére, Sam Lloyd. Lloyd a Staples Gimnáziumban végzett 1958-ban, későbbi tanulmányait a Neighborhood Playhouse-ban végezte, New Yorkban.

Karrier

1975 óta szerepel filmekben. Első nagy szerepe a Száll a kakukk fészkére volt. Ezt megelőzően szerepelt még az Airport című filmben is 1970-ben. 1978-1983 között a Taxi című sorozatban is szerepelt.

1984-ben ő is fontos szerepet játszott a Star Trek III: Spock nyomában című filmben. 1985-ben a Vissza a jövőbe című filmben egy feltalálót játszott.

1988-ban a Roger nyúl a pácban című filmben is feltűnt. 1991-ben az Addams Family - A galád családban Fester bácsit alakította. 1999-ben a Kerge város című filmben is látható volt.

Szerepelt az 1999-es Alice in Wonderland (Alice Csodaországban) című filmben, amelyben The White Knight szerepét játszotta. 2002-től napjainkig állandó szereplője a Cyberchase című televíziós sorozatnak. Még ebben az évben szinkronizált a Hey Arnold!: The Movie című animációs filmben, amelyben Coroner-nek adta a hangját.

2005-ben szinkronszerepet kapott a Here Comes Peter Cottontail: The Movie című filmben, amelyben Seymour S. Sassafrass-nak kölcsönözte a hangját.

2006-ban szerepet kapott a Masters of Horror című televíziós sorozatban, amelyben Everett Neely szerepében láthatták őt a TV nézők. Két évvel később szerepet kapott a Law & Order: Criminal Intent című krimisorozatban, amelyben Carmine szerepében tűnt fel.

2009-ben többek közt olyan filmekben játszott, mint a Call of the Wild, valamint a Santa Buddies. Még ugyanebben az évben szerepelt a Meteor, a Knights of Bloodsteel, valamint az It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia című sorozatokban.

2010-ben szerepet kapott a Piranha 3D című filmben, amelyben Mr. Goodman szerepében tűnt fel.

2011-ben és 2012-ben is számos filmben szerepelt, ilyen például az Adventures of Serial Buddies, a The Chateau Meroux, a Dorothy and the Witches of Oz, valamint a The Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure.

2013-ban két sorozatban is szerepelt, mégpedig a Raising Hope-ban, valamint a Psych-ben.

2014-ben olyan filmekben játszott, mint a Zodiac: Signs of the Apocalypse, a Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, valamint a Pirate's Code: The Adventures of Mickey Matson. Ezen kívül feltűnt a The Michael J. Fox Show, valamint a Granite Flats című sorozatokban.

2015-ben jelenik meg a 88 és a The Boat Builder című filmje. Még ebben az évben kölcsönözte a hangját a The Simpsons Reverend című sorozat Jim Ignatowski-jának.

2016-ban két filmje is meg fog jelenni, mégpedig az I Am Not a Serial Killer, valamint a Robert.

Magánélet

1959-1971 között Catherine Boyd volt a felesége. 1975-1987 között Kay Tornborg-val alkotott egy párt. Harmadik házassága Carol Vanek-kel volt, akivel 3 évig élt együtt (1988-1991). Negyedik alkalommal Jane Walker Wood-ot vette feleségül, akivel 1992–2005 között élt. Gyerkmeke egyetlen házaságából sem született.
