Stephen Dorff

Életrajz:

Stephen Dorff 1973 július 29-én született Atlantában, Georgia államban. Édesapja Steve Dorff híres zeneszerző, és zenei producer, öccse Andrew Dorff, szintén a zenei pályát választotta. Stephen Los Angelesben nőtt fel, ahol édesapja is dolgozott, és már gyermekkorában elkezdte a színészetet. Számos Kraft, és Mattel-reklámban is szerepelt.

Karrier:

Dorff a 80-as évek végén kezdte a pályafutását. Eleinte csak kisebb szerepeket kapott. Több televíziós sorozatban is megjelent, mint páldául a Diff'rent Strokes, a Blossom, vagy a Married whit Children. A sorozatok mellett olyan TV-filmekben is szerepelt, mint az In Love and War, I Know My First Name is Steven, és a What a Dummy.

Stephen első jelentősebb szerepét a The Gate cimű 1987-es hrrorfilmben kapta. A film egy fiúról szól, aki barátjával együtt, felfedez egy átjárót a házuk kertjében, amely a pokolba vezet.

1994-ben szerepelt a Backbeat című zenés drámaban. 1996-ban eljátszhatta Candy Darlinget az I Shot Andy Warhol cimű filmben. Legnagyobb sikerét az 1998-as Blade cimű horrorban aratta, Deacon Frost szerepében.

2000-ben szerepelt a Cecil B. Demented című vigjátékban, majd 2002-ben a Deuces Wild, a Riders, és a FeardotCom című thrillerben is főszerepet játszott. 2003-ban szintén két thriller következett, a Den of Lions, és a Cold Creek Manor, ahol Dennis Quaid, és Sharon Stone partnere volt.

2005-ben Christian Slater mellett kapott szerepet az Alone in the Dark című filmben. 2007-ben szerepelt a Botched című horrorban, majd 2008-ban a Felon című akciófilmben is főszerepet játszott. 2009-ben jött a Public Enemies, majd 2010-ben a Born to be Star cimű komédia, ahol egy pornósztárt alakitott.

2011-ben az Immortals című látványos akciófilmben láthattuk Henry Cavill, és Luke Evans oldalán.

2012-ben a Brake című izgalmas thrillerben játszott főszerepet, majd egy korrupt rendőr bőrébe bújhatott a 2013-as Officer Down című drámában. Még ugyanebben az évben a Heatstroke című thrillerben is főszerepet játszott.

2015 áprilisában mutatták be a spanyolországi Málaga Filmfesztiválon az Oliver's Deal című politikai drámát melyben a címszerepet alakította, valamint főszerepet játszott még az American Hero című akciófilmben.
